Minigames: basics

Under Bot Minigames you find eleven minigames your viewers can play in chat with loyalty points: Roulette, Heist, Duel, Gamble, Lucky Wheel, Slots, Coinflip, Blackjack, Arena, Raffle and Minecraft/Hytale interventions. Each has its own page with its own settings, but they all share the same basic rules for bets. This page explains them once for all.

Writing bets

Viewers give their bet right after the command, for example !slots 500. Several notations are understood:

Notation Example Meaning
Plain number 100 Exactly 100 points
Thousands with a dot or comma 10.000 or 10,000 10,000 points
Short form with k 1.5k, 10k 1,500 or 10,000 points
Short form with m 2.5m, 1m 2,500,000 or 1,000,000 points
Percent 50% Half of the current balance
Everything all, allin or 100% The entire balance

If the bot does not recognize the input as a number, it shows the correct syntax of the command. For commands with several arguments (for example !raffle 10k 2), only the first word is read as the amount.

Minimum and maximum bet

Every minigame has a minimum bet and a maximum bet on its settings page. If a viewer's bet is below the minimum, the bot rejects it and names the required amount. The No maximum bet toggle removes the upper limit: when off, a bet that is too high (even with allin) is automatically capped to the maximum bet. When on, a viewer with enough balance may bet any amount.

If a viewer's balance is not enough for the requested bet, the bot rejects the entry and names the current balance.

Cooldown

Every minigame has its own cooldown in seconds. If a viewer tries to play again before it has passed, the bot answers with the remaining wait time. The cooldown applies per viewer and per minigame separately.

Texts and placeholders

Every minigame has its own text fields for win, loss and other outcomes, which you can customize freely. In them you use placeholders in curly braces, for example {user} or {amount}, which the bot replaces with the matching values when sending the message. Which placeholders exist for which game is listed in that game's own guide. The text fields also allow emotes from your channel.

Overlay card

Minigames have their own overlay widget (minigame card) in the Overlay Designer. It shows the currently running or last finished game with name, bet and result, and automatically adjusts font size and space for long names, large amounts or long texts.

Turning games on and off

Every minigame has an Enabled toggle. When off, the bot does not react to the command in chat at all, not even with an error message.

FAQ

Why does the bot not react to my test command? Check whether the minigame is enabled on its page, and whether your bet is above the minimum bet.

Can I run all minigames at the same time? Yes, they are independent of each other. Cooldowns apply per game, not overall.

Where do I see all chat commands at a glance? A full overview of all chat commands is in the guide Chat commands (overview).
