Getting Started

The Streamer Dashboard is your personal panel on eranio.de. Here you set up your chat bot, create commands and automations, design overlays for OBS, manage channel points, minigames, loyalty points, giveaways and much more. Everything runs in the browser, there is nothing to install.

This documentation describes every page of the dashboard with all its settings. It is sorted by the groups of the left menu so you quickly find the right place.

Note on platforms: This documentation covers the dashboard for Twitch. TikTok and further platforms (YouTube, Kick, Trovo) are planned and in progress and will be added here once they are ready.

Signing in

  1. Open eranio.de and click Sign in.
  2. Sign in with your Twitch account. There is no separate eranio.de password, signing in always works through Twitch.
  3. Twitch asks whether eranio.de may access your channel. Confirm it.
  4. You land directly in the dashboard at eranio.de/streamer/dashboard.

Why so many permissions?

Twitch shows a list of permissions when you sign in. The dashboard needs them to do things on your channel for you, for example:

Permission What it is needed for
Read and write chat The bot answers commands and writes messages
Manage channel points Create and edit rewards, refund redemptions
Polls and predictions Live tools and prediction analysis
Moderation (bans, timeouts, deleting messages) Auto moderation and moderation tools
Stream info (title, category) Change title and game right from the dashboard
Followers, subscribers, clips, videos Lists, statistics, clip and video overviews
Announcements, shoutouts, raids Announcements and raid tools

You can disconnect at any time in your Twitch settings under Connections. After that the bot and live features stop working until you sign in again.

When a feature needs a new permission

If a new feature needs an additional permission, the dashboard shows a notice at the top. Sign out and back in once so Twitch asks for the new permission.

How the panel is organised

Left menu

The menu is split into groups. Every group can be expanded and collapsed:

Favorites

Almost every page has a star at the top right. Clicking it puts the page into the My Favorites group at the very top of the menu, so the pages you need often during a stream are always at hand. Clicking it again removes the favorite.

User menu

Click your profile picture at the top right to find:

  • Platforms: overview of your connected platforms (see guide Platforms)
  • To website: opens eranio.de in a new tab
  • Sign out

Saving

Most pages have a Save button at the bottom or top. Changes only apply once you save. After saving a short confirmation appears at the top right. If something important is missing or a value is invalid, the field is marked red and the problem is shown below it.

The first five minutes

To get your bot working in chat right away, these steps are recommended:

  1. Check the bot account: Under Bot → Bot account the shared eranio.de bot is active by default. It works immediately. If you want your own bot name in chat, link your own Twitch account there.
  2. Make the bot a moderator: Type /mod <botname> in your Twitch chat. Without moderator rights the bot cannot delete messages and is subject to chat restrictions (for example slow mode).
  3. Settings: Under Bot → Settings you set the bot's name, the word it reacts to and whether AI replies are active.
  4. First commands: Under Bot → Automations you create chat commands such as !discord or !socials.
  5. Overlay: Under Overlay → Designer (Beta) you build your first overlay canvas and add its link as a browser source in OBS.

FAQ

Does my computer have to be on for the bot to work?

No. The bot runs on the eranio.de server around the clock. You can close the browser.

The bot does not answer in chat

  • Check on the Dashboard whether the Bot status is Online.
  • Check that the command is active under Automations and the permission fits (for example "Moderators only").
  • If the dashboard shows a command conflict, two features use the same keyword. Change one of them.
  • If the chat is in slow or follower mode, make the bot a moderator.

My data

Points, statistics and settings belong to your channel and stay stored, even if you do not sign in for a while.

Where do I report bugs or wishes?

Through the contact options on eranio.de. New features and changes are listed under Navigation → Changelog in the panel.
