Viewer control
With viewer control, your chat moves a character on your Minecraft server: walk, jump, turn, look around, mine, place, pick a hotbar slot and revive after death. You need no mod and no program on your PC, everything runs through the StreamBridge plugin on the server. Menu: Bot minigames → Minecraft, section Viewer control.
Requirements
- A connected Minecraft server with StreamBridge 1.9.0 or newer (see the guide "Minecraft and Hytale")
- The controlled player is in the player list and online on the server
- The chat bot is active in your channel. The commands work in Twitch chat and TikTok chat
- Hytale follows with StreamBridge-Hytale 1.5.0

German commands work as well: !vor, !zurück, !links, !rechts, !springen, !drehlinks, !drehrechts, !hoch, !runter, !abbauen, !bauen, !leben, !steuerung an, !steuerung aus.
Important: while viewer control is on, these commands take priority over your own commands with the same name. If you have a command !left of your own, it only reacts again once control is off.
How the character behaves
- Walking: every command lets the character walk smoothly for about half a second. It jumps a one block step by itself
- Safety: it stops in front of lava, fire, magma, cactus, powder snow and drops deeper than 3 blocks. Chat cannot simply walk it into lava
- Mining: takes as long as normal survival play. The cracks in the block are visible. Blocks that would take longer than 15 seconds (for example obsidian by hand) are not mined
- Quiet: control commands only show a short hint above the hotbar, no big title and no sound, so your picture is not covered
Vote or chaos?
With vote the system collects every command of a round. Every viewer has one vote, a new command replaces their previous one. At the end of the round the most wanted command runs, on a tie the one named first. This feels calmer and suits many viewers.
With chaos every command runs at once, only slowed by the cooldown per viewer and the limit per second. This is wilder and more fun with few viewers.
!revive works at once in both modes, with its own cooldown.
Frequently asked questions
The character does not react to the commands. Check that control is on, a player is chosen, the player is online and the server runs StreamBridge 1.9.0 or newer. You see the connection at the top in the Server section.
Can I still play myself?
Yes, you keep playing normally, the commands only come on top. With !control off or the switch in the panel you take over completely again.
Do gifts and channel points still work? Yes, interventions through gifts or channel points keep running independently of viewer control.
Can I test that everything works?
Yes, on the server the command /streambridge selftest checks every control action on your own player in about 80 seconds and restores everything afterwards.
