Media Library
Here you upload images, videos and sounds that you can later use in your overlay alerts, and you can preview them. Menu: Overlay → Media Library.
Uploading files
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Maximum file size | 2 GB per file |
| Allowed image formats | jpg, jpeg, png, gif, webp |
| Allowed video formats | webm, mp4, mov |
| Allowed audio formats | mp3, ogg, wav |
You must select at least one file. You can also upload several files at once.
Storage
At the top of the page you see how much of your storage quota is already used and what your total quota is. If you exceed your quota while uploading multiple files, the extra files are skipped and you get a warning with the number of files that uploaded successfully and the number that were skipped.
After uploading
After a single upload you get a confirmation. When uploading several files, the confirmation shows the number of files uploaded. If videos are included, you also get a note that they still need a short processing step before they are ready to use.
Your media is shown with the newest upload first.
Deleting media
The trash icon on a media card lets you delete a file. This requires confirmation in a window and cannot be undone.
FAQ
Where do I use the uploaded media? On the Overlay Alerts page you can choose your own media from this library for your alerts.
Does an uploaded file count against my storage quota even if I don't use it anywhere? Yes, every uploaded file takes up storage space until you delete it, regardless of whether it is currently used in an alert.
Why does it take a moment before a video shows up? Uploaded videos go through a short processing step after upload so they play back reliably in the overlay. This happens automatically in the background.
