On this page, you connect a Discord webhook to send automatic live notifications and announcements to your Discord server. When you go live, eranio.de can send a message directly to a Discord channel without you having to type it manually. You can also send custom announcements (e.g. for events or tournaments) anytime from here.
Webhook Configuration
Create a Discord webhook
To send Discord messages, you need a Discord webhook. It is a special URL that allows eranio.de to write messages to your channel. Here is how to create one:
- Open your Discord server
- Go to the channel where live notifications should appear
- Click the gear icon (Channel Settings)
- Navigate to "Integrations" → "Webhooks"
- Click "New Webhook"
- Give the webhook a name (e.g. "Eranio Live Bot")
- Copy the webhook URL (looks like:
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/ABC123...) - Come back here and paste the URL into the "Discord Webhook URL" field

Save button
Saves all settings above. If "Automatic Live Notification" is just being turned on, we automatically subscribe to Twitch events (EventSub). If it is just being turned off, we end the subscription.
Live Notification
This section sends an immediate live notification to Discord. This is useful if you just went live but have automatic notifications turned off, or if you want to send it again manually.
Button "Send live notification now": Immediately sends a live message with your current stream title, game, and viewer count.
Requirement: You must have configured a webhook. If this does not work, you will see the error message "No webhook URL configured".
Announcement
Use this section to send custom messages to Discord. This is ideal for:
- Announcing tournaments and events
- Communicating breaks or delays
- Sending community messages
- Announcing special actions

Send Announcement button
Sends the announcement to Discord immediately. The message appears as a card ("embed") with color, title, and text.
Requirement: A webhook must be configured and the "Message" field must not be empty.
FAQ
Where do I find the webhook? In your Discord server. Go to "Channel Settings" → "Integrations" → "Webhooks". The webhook must be created first.
Is my webhook password stored visibly? No. Your webhook is stored encrypted with us. Only you can see it. It is not a password though, but a webhook URL. It should not be shared, as anyone with it could write messages to your channel.
Can I customize the message? Yes. In the "Extra Message (Ping)" field, you can change the text before the live box. You can also click "Load Default" to reset the template.
What are the variables {name} and {url}?
{name}is replaced with your Twitch name (e.g. "eranio"){url}is replaced with the link to your stream (e.g. "https://twitch.tv/eranio")
Can I connect multiple Discord channels? Currently only one webhook. If you need multiple channels, you can create multiple webhooks in ONE channel and add them all here (the old webhook will be overwritten). Alternatively, configure in Discord to forward the first webhook's messages to other channels.
What happens if the webhook URL is no longer valid? eranio.de will try to send the message. If it fails, you will see an error message. Check if the webhook is still active in Discord, or create a new one.
Does EventSub apply to live notifications or announcements? Only to live notifications. EventSub means that Twitch notifies eranio.de immediately when you go online. Announcements are always sent only when you click the button.
