Settings
Here you set the basics of your bot: how it reacts to messages, how long AI replies may be, whether minigames should only run while live, and which account carries out moderation actions. Menu: Bot → Settings.
Bot prompt
| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger word | loaded from your account | The word the bot reacts to in chat (without the leading @). Letters, digits and underscore only, up to 50 characters. Only visible if you use the shared bot |
| System prompt | loaded from your account | The instruction that tells the AI how to behave. Up to 4000 characters |
| Fallback reply | loaded from your account | Text the bot sends when the AI connection is currently down. Up to 490 characters, emotes allowed |
All three fields save automatically once you leave the field.
Reply length
| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum reply length | 200 characters | Slider from 50 to 490 characters in steps of 10, limits the length of AI replies |
Minigames
| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Minigames only while live | off | When on, minigames only react while you are live |
| Offline text for minigames | empty | Message shown for a minigame attempt while offline. Only visible when "Minigames only while live" is on. Up to 300 characters, emotes allowed |
Moderation account
| Field | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Moderation account | Streamer | Chooses which account performs moderation actions (timeout, ban, delete message): your own account or your own bot. "Own bot" is only selectable once you have linked your own bot on the Bot account page |
Bot mode
Three buttons switch the bot quickly:
- On: bot and all commands run normally
- AI off only: the bot no longer answers with AI text, chat commands keep working
- Everything off: the bot and all commands are completely disabled
Send test message
Checks the connection to your Twitch chat by sending a short test message, through your own bot (if linked) or otherwise the shared bot. There is a 60 second gap between two tests. Failures (no channel linked, cooldown active, message failed) are shown to you directly.
Excluding users
Add exclusion permanently blocks a specific viewer name from interacting with the bot, optionally with a reason. If the name is already on the list, you get a notice. Remove takes an entry off the list again.
FAQ
Why do I not see the trigger word? The field only appears if you use the shared eranio.de bot. With your own bot account, your bot reacts to its own name.
Why can I not select "Own bot" for moderation? You first need to link your own Twitch account for the bot under Bot account.
Are my entries saved right away? Yes, most fields save automatically as soon as you leave the field or flip a toggle.
