StreamBridge (Minecraft): Overview & Installation
StreamBridge is the Minecraft plugin (Paper/Spigot) that connects your Minecraft server to a streamer panel. Through it, viewers trigger actions directly in the game via TikTok gifts or Twitch channel points. This guide is for operators of their own Minecraft server, not for viewers.
How it works
The plugin periodically asks the panel for new actions (polling), so it runs as a client, your server does not need to be reachable from the outside.
- Protocol: HTTPS (REST API, JSON)
- Authentication: Bearer token in the HTTP header, which you get from the panel
- What the plugin sends: plugin version and status (paused or active), a snapshot of online players (name, health, hunger, level, world, dimension, game mode, active effects, running timers), the server whitelist (up to 200 names), the results of the latest actions, and once at startup a list of all registered items
- What the plugin receives: live stream information (streamer name, platform, link, viewer count) and the list of actions to execute
Installation
- Download the current version (
StreamBridge-1.8.0.jar) and place it in your Paper/Spigot server'spluginsfolder. - Start the server once so the plugin creates the
config.ymlfile inplugins/StreamBridge/. - Enter the authentication token from your panel into
config.yml(see below) and restart the server, or run/streambridge reload.

FAQ
Does my server need to be reachable from the outside? No, the plugin actively polls the panel itself, no incoming connection is needed.
Where do I get the token? In your streamer panel, on the Minecraft page, where you set up the connection to your server.
What happens if the panel is unreachable?
The plugin logs a warning in the server log and tries again at the next interval. You can see the current connection status with /streambridge status.
